The highly anticipated mall, particularly by those staying up North in Singapore, has announced that they will be opening their doors on Dec 18, 2020.

A new shopping mall is arriving in the Northern part of Singapore, and it is linked seamlessly to the Canberra MRT station – So no more getting wet when it rains!

The soon-to-arrive Canberra Plaza will give residents of The Watergardens At Canberra (and Sembawang, Woodlands and of course the rest of Singapore) more dining and retail options, including all time favourite Japanese budget franchise Daiso, and also A&W’s third outlet in Singapore. The residents at The Watergardens At Canberra can now enjoy their curly fries and root beer floats!

The typical shopping mall vendors will also be having their outlets there — Starbucks, Ya Kun Kaya Toast, McDonald’s, BreadTalk, KFC and NTUC Fairprice supermarket. Talk about convenience to the neighbouring estate, and it is only a short walk from The Watergardens at Canberra site.

There’s also a whole floor dedicated to enrichment schools: The Ballet School, Shichida, Eton Academy, Beijing Language School and CMA Mental Arithmetic Centre.

Those with young children will be comforted to know that there is plenty of built-in green spaces and an open-air water park in there too.

Seems like there’s yet another location to hang around in the weekends for Singaporeans living up North. However maybe wait till the COVID-19 situation is more within control?
